Guidelines
- Don’t use profanity or any language that could be considered offensive or obscene.
- Don’t include any threatening remarks.
- Don’t be malicious.
- Do be sure the factual information in your statement is true.
- Do be sure any opinions you express are clearly differentiated from factual information.
- Don’t include information that could be used to identify the private individuals or the business entities which you mention. This is both to protect against libel allegations and to keep the focus of the web site on understanding rather than on personal vendettas.
- Do, if you like, identify the public individuals and entities which you mention (for instance the President or the Supreme Court).
- Don’t plagiarize from any other source.
- Don’t invade the privacy of any of the people you mention.
- Don’t include links to other websites.
- Don’t comment on other statements in your statement.
- Do bear in mind as you write that the laws of libel, invasion of privacy, and copyright infringement apply to the material appearing on this website.
