I am a single parent who takes care of my son’s health insurance. Before he was with the Healthy Families he was under my health insurance coverage from work and I can fairly afford it considering of my minimum wage back then. After he turned 19 when he was not eligible for Healthy Families I tried covering him under my work coverage and it is not a good idea at all. It is almost 300% more expensive for the both of us. I had to get him out out before we will be force out to the streets. My concern is how would this Obama Healthcare takes care of this cost. Yes, they say they can qualify under their parents insurance but the catch is they’ll get more money from you. It looks like a bait. It’s like they cover you for $1 and they’ll catch $4 in return if you cover your dependent.
