My wife tells me that our HMO called and said we can’t get coverage with them for her because she has no history of medical care, has never had a pap smear, mammogram and doesn’t have a regular doctor. She is 55 and never been sick. This is as bad as having to borrow money and pay interest to some bank to show that you are worthy of credit.
