Medical Security Risk and Identity Theft

I have noticed that at least every year a medical facility gives me a notice that one or more Employee’s personal computer has been stolen with patients information and that the patients need to take action to protect themselves against potential identity theft.

I have a problem with this, all Medical Facility’s should not have this valuable information of patients on a portable computer and even taken out of the medical facility. Facts show that most all identity theft is from medical industry due to lack of computer software protection, please help save American citizens.
